Drawing Specifications for Laser Cutting

Laser cutting and engraving require different types of drawing files depending on the effect you want to achieve. The most common type we use are vector files created in a program like CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator.

We can create vector files and make them laser ready for you but to save us time (and save you money) please follow the guides below to optimise your files ready for the laser.

Vector cutting: Red hairline (0.01 pt) RGB 255,0,0
Vector outline: Green hairline (0.01 pt) RGB 0,0,255
Vector engraving: Black lines greater than hairline and fills RGB 0,0,0
Vector file formats: .AI .EPS .CDR .DXF .SVG .PDF
